How dull life suddenly became when ones medication actually started to take a slight effect on one. Lucifer was ever so slightly grumpy, due to the fact that that his hyperactivity had seemed to have dissolved into nothing. Today he was laying off with the fashion a bit, and so was wearing a pair of skin tight black jeans, almost painful to wear, and certainly uncomfortable to sit down in, but he looked sexy as hell.
His brown hair went just down past his jaw at the back, and a little short at the front, scruffy in that on purpose sense. He had a dark green t-shirt on, and a bikers jacket on over the top of that, with a pair of black, pvc bikers boots to match. At the thought of the fact that he hadn't managed to do anything bad so far today, he hadn't set someone alight, or at least threatened it, his stress levels rose. Right well, that meant that he had to have a cigarette, so he got one out of his pocket, lit up out of sight of the orderlies, and let that heavenly smoke fill his lungs.

Stopping in mid-thought,he practically purred at the smell of a fresh cigarette being lit.He was definately addicted,but hey,it wouldn't kill him so no worries.The thought though of what his lungs looked like made him giggle,they were probably so thick with tar...ew.Watching as the man with the cigarette walked by,he grinned and waved his pack of cards lightly "Hey man,feel like a game of blackjack?"

That was one of the main things that people tried to put to him, that smoking was bad for your health, but he was a werewolf, he wasn’t gonna die anytime soon. It was one of the reasons that people could never convince him to quit, because there really were no plus sides to stopping, and no down sides to continuing.
Seeing the other guy with a pack of cards, he stopped without a word, his blank mind buzzing intop action. ”He’s annoying, just like everyone else. Play, glare, play, glare, play, glare, play. Dammit” It was often how his mind worked with things, making quick decisions like that, not showing it on the outside.

Nodding once he plopped down onto the linoleum floor,starting to deal the cards and setting the extra pile aside,watching this guy the whole time from under the rim of his hat.He seemed like one of those moody types,but hell,he could be too very easily,just ask the people at City Hall.Once again this made him smile to himself,the memory of that stuck-up prick begging for his life...god it was great.

Sitting down on the floor opposite him, he tried to remember how to play black jack, it seemed simple enough, wasn’t like he would bet his smokes anyway. Well maybe he would, he did have a secret supply of them, managing to steal them with Talulla from the machine. Lucifer didn’t watch Harrison like he was being watched, he didn’t care much for his own safety anymore, he didn’t think it would be breached anyway.
Moving the cigarette to the side of his mouth, he used both of his hands to pick up his share of the cards, and looked at them, thinking for a little bit. So far today, none of the orderlies had seen, or noticed the fact that Lucifer had suddenly started smoking again, and if they did, he’d do whatever he liked to get them to go away.

Thumbing through his cards slightly while chewing his thumbnail,he dug in his pocket and pulled out a ten dollar bill,placing it in the middle of them "10 bucks.Do you bet or fold?" Right now he was confident,but he had a nasty habit of betting too high right away.

He looked ever so slightly surprised when Harrison pulled a ten dollar bill out of his pocket, he hadn’t thought anyone had money in this place. Well not only was there not a lot of point to having money around here, since you couldn’t exactly buy stuff, he just didn’t have any. Glancing to his hand, he took another drag on his cigarette, looking briefly back up to the other guy. Lucifer could smell that he was a smoker, the scent was imbedded into his clothes, and as a werewolf, he would have obviously noticed.
”Haven’t got any money, would smokes do?”
Lucifer asked gruffly, pulling a twelve cigarette packet from his pocket and showing it to Harrison, curious as to what his reaction would be. He mostly was interested because it would show just how addicted the guy was or wasn’t.

He was suprised for a moment,then a slow smile appeared and he nodded,unable to hide his fangs as he grinned "Cigarettes are perfect." he replied "Next best thing to sex in this hell hole.All the nurses though act so high and mighty about 'em when they KNOW it wont kill us or anything."

He nodded when the other guy said smokes were fine, otherwise he would’ve insulted him, and walked off. Not that he thought it was fantastic or anything, he still didn’t care whether he won them or lost them, but he was thinking that he might be able to pay off the guard, next time he got dished into isolation.
”It’s a control thing.”
Lucifer muttered, taking another drag on his cigarette as he put down the packet in the space between them, though they were closer to him. He didn’t trust anyone, and it was stupid to do so, it could not only get you embarrassed, but injured as well. Nodding as if he slightly acknowledged what Harrison had said, he looked at his deal of eighteen, one jack and an eight, and thought about taking another card.
Chancing it, he took another card from the pile and got a two, so that meant he had a hand of twenty, not that bad really.

He waited almost patiently as Harrison pulled up another card, and considered his hand, and judging by the feel of his emotions, it probably wasn't the best deal in history. Lucifer didn't tend to try and cheat with other supernaturals by reading their thoughts, often they knew what he was doing. Not that he couldn't take care of himself, but it was incredibly annoying to have to look after yourself all the time.
"20."
He stated, fanning the cards out on the hard floor, waiting to see what Harrison said his hand was, since either he would lose a packet of cigarettes, or gain ten dollars.

Lucifer looked curiously at Harrison’s deal, thinking on whether it was worth playing it again, wasn’t like he didn’t have a life time supply of smokes or anything. Figuring that this might be a game that was a bit longer than expected, he took another drag on his cigarette, looking up at the other guy.
Deal again?
He asked in a very bored tone, flicking his cards a few inches forward towards the others, thinking he would offer the guy a cigarette if they played again.
